What we collect
Each emergency report contains: a unique hash ID, timestamp, GPS coordinates, chosen category, and an optional 140-character message. No account, phone number, or personal identifier is required.
Local-first storage
Reports are stored on your device first (IndexedDB). They are only sent to the clearinghouse when you explicitly flush or when the device detects an internet connection and auto-flush is enabled.
Bluetooth & location
The native app uses Bluetooth Low Energy and GPS only to broadcast or detect SOS beacons. These signals contain no name, phone number, or account data.
Sharing
QR and mesh sync happens directly between browsers/devices. The shared payload is the same report data you chose to file.
For institutional or data inquiries, contact the coordinating organization deploying this app.
